Last week I was working up in the Southern Flinders Rangers. I have been up there a number of times this year but this time was particularly stunning as there were lots of colourful plants and flowers out and the sun was shinning down in spectacular fashion.
Here are some instant prints I was able to capture, a mixture of Fuji Instax Wide and Impossible Spectra Film.
The images that appear below were taken over a five week artist residency on Flinders Island in Tasmania. I captured and shared one instant photograph for each day that I was away. This process helped me stay connected with others whilst I was in quite an isolated area of Australia and to share the experience I had through photography.
The complete series of work is titled An Island of Solitude.
