In March I went out with the wilderness therapy company Operation Flinders for my second walk with a group of 10 at risk youths. We walk for 8 days in the Northern Flinders on a property called Yankaninna Station which boarders the Gammon Ranges. We aim to walk 100km over the 8 days. During this walk it was extremely hot reaching temperatures in the 40’s a number of days in a row. The experience was highly challenging but just as rewarding. Its wonderful to be in this landscape for an extended period of time, and we were walking over a new moon period so the stars were particularly prominent and encompassing.

Operation Flinders are always on the look out for new volunteers, see their website to get involved with this wonderful company :)
