Alice Blanch is an emerging Australian Photographer. Early last year she completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts specialising in photography at the South Australian School of Art and currently lives to Hobart completing her Honours in photography at the Tasmanian School of Art.
Alice’s photographic practice explores ways to use old cameras, alternative photographic processes and combining these with modern post production techniques. Through her work she attempts to capture the moods and textures of the natural world and is inspired by cloud formations, the changing states of the sky and the effect that this has on the landscape below. Alice’s art practice is heavily influenced by late 19th /early 20th century photographers and processes. |
